This 10.5 inch plate is slip decorated in white, yellow, cobalt, manganese and pink with The Conch Republic Flag. The Conch Republic is a fundamental micronation created as a comical secession from the United States by Key West on April 23, 1982. They celebrate Independence Day every April 23rd as part of a week long fesitval of activities involving numerous businesses in Key West. Each one is a unique and hand painted work of art. The front has a rich crackle finish and the back has a smooth waxed patina.
